The display can be customized to show the time only, AM/PM, or 24-hour time. It installs both as a normal program and a real screensaver with password ability and preview in the small Windows screensaver setup screen. To exit the program just press any key, click the mouse, or move the mouse. It shows the time, date, and day of the week. The black background covers everything including the task bar on the bottom. Will the additional memory help with the slowness of the computer? By slowness I mean click on something and wait ages. So - will I be wasting money buying the recommendation from Crucial? The motherboard is a Biostar M6VCG - details at I thought adding some more memory may help so after visiting the Crucial website and running a scan - it says I have 512mb RAM and 2 empty slots and recommends an additional 256mb RAM.įrom an even older computer we have already tried to add a 128mb and a 64mb of RAM (the RAM looks identical to what is already in there) - however the computer is not recognising it and still showing just 512mb - we have tried unplugging and plugging it back in etc. I am not a techie at all but have tried to help myself first by looking up what the problems could be (possibly this hasn't helped!)

Probably due to age and ancient parts it now runs really slowly. I have a old computer which is only used for my itunes really and not much else.
